Their website states that you can return any unwanted e-cigarette kit within 30 days of purchase if you decide that it isn’t for you. Their products are also covered by a limited lifetime warranty. On the down side, the company has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau at the time of writing, which may be a fact you’ll want to consider before buying.

As far as the fine print goes, the warranty will only cover product failure “within normal life expectancy”.

That’s one way Pure Cigs differs from V2 Cigs. V2 covers all product failure during normal use. This is reasonable, especially when you consider that V2 Cigs’ products tend to be a little more expensive. This also means that you have to prioritize paying a little more now for an e-cigarette kit or paying a little bit more for parts replacement down the road.

With that being said, many of our e-cigarette batteries have lasted for a year or more.

The basic Pure Cigs e-cigarette comes with no more than the basics for $19.99. You receive a battery, four refill cartridges and a USB charger.

Pure Cigs offers what we consider a standard array of refill flavors. You’ll find most of these flavors available from other e-cigarette companies.

The flavors offered are a few tobacco variations, a menthol flavor and a cherry mixed with vanilla flavor with a few sweet notes.

Although we’ve seen more variety when it comes to e-liquid from other e-cigarette companies, Pure Cigs’ flavors will likely keep you appeased for a little while. We particularly enjoyed the cherry and tobacco flavors.

Pure Cigs Review: Vapor Production and Battery Life

We think that the vapor production from Pure Cigs will satisfy most e-smokers as long as you get an e-liquid with the right amount of nicotine in it.

We found that the battery for the standard Pure Cigs e-cigarettes lasts for about an hour of constant use, which isn’t too bad. You can spread your e-smoking sessions out throughout the day and make two batteries last for the entire day before recharging them.

If you smoke a pack or more of real cigarettes each day, then you should definitely consider upgrading to the Pure Cigs Deluxe Kit. You get a portable charging case, which is invaluable for ensuring that you’re able to e-smoke on demand.

Pure Cigs vs. Blu Cigs

The most prominent seller of “micro” e-cigarettes in the United States is Blu Cigs. You’ve likely run across this brand name if you’re looking for an e-cigarette based on size above all other qualities.

While Blu Cigs offers e-liquid manufactured in the United States, Pure Cigs doesn’t specify where they obtain their e-liquid from. It’s probably a safe assumption that Pure Cigs sells Chinese e-liquid, which isn’t necessarily bad. It’s just that it may not be as good or offer the same variety as American-made e-liquids do. However, it must be said that the Pure Cigs battery will work with cartridges sold by Blu Cigs or any other company that manufactures cartridges for the L88 battery.

The last thing that Blu Cigs uniquely offers is the social charging pack. It allows users of one of the most popular e-cigarette brands, the other being V2, to meet other Blu users by vibrating when another Blu charging pack is nearby.

It’s a bit of a gimmick, but it makes social situations more interesting when you’re with fellow e-smokers.

The only downside to Blu Cigs is the fact that their products cost more than those sold by Pure Cigs.
