It’s a pod system that gives you many of the features of a larger pod mod or vape mod in a stick-shaped package that’s discreet and pocket friendly.

The fact that the Oxva NeXlim offers more features than previous Oxva vapes means that it’s a bit more complicated to use. Although this device does include a printed manual, you might like a bit of a preview of what the NeXlim is like before buying it in order to determine whether it’s going to be the right vape for you. How to Charge the Oxva NeXlim

To charge the Oxva NeXlim, connect it to your computer using the included USB cable. As the device charges, the battery meter (represented by a lightning bolt icon) begins to fill. When the meter is full, the battery is fully charged.

How to Fill the Oxva NeXlim

The Oxva NeXlim pod has an angled filling port that’s accessible when the pod is installed in the device. To fill the pod, lift the silicone cover with your fingernail and add your e-liquid through the filling port. Don’t overfill the pod; leave a little room for the cover. Close the cover securely. Whenever you fill a new NeXlim pod, wait several minutes before you start vaping.

How to Vape with the Oxva NeXlim

The Oxva NeXlim has a puff-activated firing mechanism. To vape, just puff on the device as if you were smoking a cigarette. You can adjust the airflow if desired by moving the slider on the side of the NeXlim.

Try to avoid using excessive air pressure when puffing on the device. When the NeXlim detects the incoming air, the screen turns on. That’s all the air pressure you need to use.

Changing the Oxva NeXlim’s Settings

The button on the side of the Oxva NeXlim allows you to access the device’s menu system and change its settings. The number of times that you press the button determines what the device does – and the fun thing is that if you ever forget the number of presses necessary to perform each function, you can simply press and hold the button to see the on-screen instructions.

Don’t forget that you can also change the NeXlim’s vaping characteristics by switching to a different pod. NeXlim pods are available in resistances of 0.6 (black base), 0.8 (orange base) and 1.2 (green base) ohm. The lower the resistance is, the larger and warmer the vapor clouds will be.

The NeXlim also works with the original Oxva Xlim pods. Using Xlim pods requires an adapter, though, and you’ll also lose the ability to switch between the Eco and Boost vaping modes because the original Xlim pods have only one coil. The adapter isn’t included with the device.

Fixing Problems with the Oxva NeXlim

Not Charging

If the battery indicator doesn’t move when you connect the Oxva NeXlim to your computer, the device isn’t charging. Follow these steps to troubleshoot.

• Try charging the NeXlim with a different cable.
• Connect the device to a different USB port. You can also use a wall charger with a 5-volt, 1-amp output.
• Make sure that the NeXlim’s charging port is clean. A toothpick is useful for removing pocket lint.

Not Hitting

If your Oxva NeXlim isn’t hitting when you puff on it, the first thing that you should do is check the screen for an error message. If the screen displays an error, that’ll tell you what to do next.

• No Error Message: The device is probably turned off. Press the button five times to turn it on.
• “Battery Low” Error Message: Charge the NeXlim.
• “No Pod” or “Short” Error Message: Check under the pod for a leak. Dry the pod and the NeXlim completely if needed. If the error persists, replace the pod.
• “Temp High” Error Message: Move the NeXlim to a cooler place and wait a while before vaping again. In the future, don’t use the device in very hot environments or in direct sunlight.

Leaking

In a pod-based device like the Oxva NeXlim, it’s normal to see a little condensation under the pod from time to time because of the way the airflow system works. You can remove the condensation with a cotton swab. If you see a major leak, though, that’s a problem. After drying the pod and device completely, here’s what you should do next.

• Use minimal air pressure when you vape. If the NeXlim pod gurgles, you’re puffing too firmly.
• Don’t overfill the pod. The silicone cover needs a little space to achieve a proper seal.
• Make sure that the cover is completely closed after you fill the pod.

Tastes Burnt

If your Oxva NeXlim has begun to produce a burnt and slightly smoky flavor, it’s probably time for a new pod. You can generally expect a NeXlim pod to last about two weeks, but that’s only if you’re using the Eco vaping mode and aren’t using heavily sweetened e-liquid. Otherwise, the pod’s lifespan will be shorter.

If you experience a burnt hit that’s extremely harsh and irritates your throat, that’s a different problem. Here’s what to do.

• Check the pod to make sure that it isn’t empty.
• After filling a new NeXlim pod for the first time, always let the pod rest for several minutes. If the wick in the pod isn’t completely saturated with e-liquid, it’ll burn.
• Lower the NeXlim’s wattage. Although the NeXlim can operate at up to 40 watts, pods with higher resistances won’t work well at higher power levels.
