About Crescent Canna CBD

Crescent Canna CBD Review

In case you haven’t heard, the American vaping industry is in some serious trouble. On August 8, 2016, the FDA announced its intention to regulate e-cigarettes as tobacco products and stated that, for vaping products to remain on the market, the makers of those products would need to submit costly and time-consuming applications showing that their products presented a net benefit for public health. The deadline for applications has bounced around since that announcement, from 2018 – to 2022 – to 2021 for vaping products with non-tobacco and non-menthol flavors. Things took a major turn for the worse in 2019 when a federal court ordered the FDA to begin regulating vaping products immediately. The new deadline? All vaping products now require applications for pre-market authorization to be submitted by May 2020.

As of yet, no applications have been submitted. No company wants to be the first one to take the plunge because no one is sure what the FDA will approve. It’s a real mess, and some of the more astute business owners in the vaping industry have decided to hedge their bets by entering other markets.

That’s the story behind the founding of Crescent Canna. Two years ago, the owners of Crescent City Vape – a chain of vape shops in New Orleans – decided to enter the CBD market with a CBD store-within-a-store concept. The idea took off, and before long, Crescent City Vape was selling just as much CBD products as vape gear.

Figuring out what separates the good CBD products from the mediocre ones – and identifying the features that customers want to see in CBD products – took time. Eventually, the owners of Crescent City Vape teamed up with cannabis industry veterans to launch a CBD product of their own. That product is Crescent Canna CBD.

What Makes Crescent Canna CBD Special?

Crescent Canna CBD is a truly domestic product. While other companies import industrial hemp or hemp extracts from overseas suppliers based in China, or lower-cost domestic sources that don’t provide adequate quality control, Crescent Canna creates its CBD products from pure, organic CBD isolate extracted from hemp grown in California, Washington, and Colorado according to organic practices. The company manufactures all its products using high-quality, food-grade ingredients in a small-batch clean room environment in North Carolina. They are fully transparent about what goes into each product.

In terms of purity and potency, Crescent Canna is meticulous when it comes to their CBD isolate, which is always over 99 percent pure and independently tested to ensure it is THC free as well as free of any contaminants. Many other companies create their CBD products from full-spectrum hemp extracts. Those products may have trace levels of THC, and in some cases, large quantities of trace THC may flag you as a marijuana user in a drug test. CBD isolate, on the other hand, contains no detectable THC.

Crescent Canna tests every batch of CBD isolate via a third-party laboratory for cannabinoid content, heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and other toxins. You can view the test results for Crescent Canna’s CBD isolate on their website or by scanning the QR code on the package. This level of transparency is not all that common in the CBD industry.

Crescent Canna CBD Review: Products

Crescent Canna roared out of the gate in 2019 with a wide-ranging selection of CBD products for just about every use case. Next, we’ll discuss the details of Crescent Canna’s CBD products.

CBD Drops

  • Price: $39.99 and up
  • Strength: 500 mg/bottle and up

Crescent Canna CBD Drops contain CBD isolate set in a base of MCT oil and sunflower oil. The drops are available unflavored and in strawberry, peppermint and mandarin lime flavors. We like the 2,000 mg strength, which contains over 66.6 mg of CBD per dropper. That’s significantly more CBD than you’ll find in a typical capsule or gummy, so the bottle can last quite a long time – and $99.99 for 2,000 mg of CBD is a more than reasonable price.

If you’ve never used a CBD oil based on CBD isolate before, you’re going to find the experience incredibly refreshing. Depending on how little or how much the raw hemp extract is refined, CBD oils can have extremely powerful – some would even say “burned” and quite unpleasant – flavors. Since Crescent Canna uses CBD isolate for its drops, the unflavored variety tastes like almost nothing at all. The flavored varieties use only natural food-grade flavorings.

CBD Vape Cartridges

  • Price: $29.99
  • Strength: 300 mg/cartridge

Crescent Canna CBD vape cartridges are 510-threaded cartridges that work with almost any vaping device. They’re based on the same CBD isolate as Crescent Canna’s standard CBD oils, but they also feature the addition of natural plant-based terpenes based on the terpene profiles of popular cannabis strains such as Strawberry Cough, Headband OG and Pineapple Express. You’ll find that the terpenes greatly enhance the vape cartridges’ flavor profiles. In addition, studies suggest that terpenes themselves have potential health benefits such as the reduction of anxiety and inflammation.

Note that these vape cartridges have higher-resistance atomizer coils that aren’t designed to work with sub-ohm vaping devices. You’ll have the best experience with a variable-wattage device that allows you to select a power level of about 12 watts or lower. Alternatively, use the cartridges with a low-temperature vape pen such as an eGo e-cigarette.

CBD Freeze Roller

  • Price: $59.99
  • Strength: 1,000 mg/roller

You may already know that mentholated location has a wonderful cooling effect that can provide almost instant relief for sore muscles and aching joints. Combine the pain relief of menthol and camphor with the anti-inflammatory power of CBD, and you’ve got the CBD Freeze Roller by Crescent Canna. Simply rub it on the affected area and wait for the relief to set in.

Crescent Canna CBD Topicals

CBD Pain Crème

  • Price: $39.99 and up
  • Strength: 500 mg and up

While the Crescent Canna Freeze Roller uses a menthol-impregnated formula designed to penetrate deep below the skin and provide cooling pain relief, the company’s CBD Pain Crème offers a rich blend of vitamins and essential oils along with arnica and aloe vera for deep pain-relief as well as healing of bruises or irritations on the surface.

CBD Isolate Powder

  • Price: $39.99
  • Strength: 1,000 mg

This CBD isolate powder is the basis of all Crescent Canna Products – and if you’d like to try making your own CBD goods at home, this is the product you want. It’s an extremely potent powder that’s easy to measure. Since it’s over 99 percent pure (100% purity is impossible), one gram of powder would technically contain just under 1000mg of CBD. To account for this, Crescent Canna adds a little extra isolate to each container to make sure every customer gets at least 1000mg of CBD. Mix it with foods such as soups, smoothies and salad dressings. Blend it with your favorite lotion. There’s really no limit apart from your own creativity.

Crescent Canna Customer Experience

CBD is a product that people use for a huge variety of different health conditions and goals, and the research on CBD’s effectiveness for most health conditions is still preliminary in nature. There are many published studies about CBD – and most of those studies are very promising – but there’s always a possibility that you’ll take CBD and find it ineffective. With Crescent Canna, that’s no problem. If you’re unhappy with a product, you can return it for a refund within 30 days. Flexible returns like this are rare in the CBD industry, and we commend Crescent Canna for having the confidence to stand behind its products.
